Service of Light for Loved Ones

October 23, 2025

This is a subtitle for your new post

A special service will be held on Sunday 2nd November at 3pm during which we will remember and pray for our departed loved ones by name.  There will be an opportunity too to light candles to support our prayers, and to reflect with love and thanksgiving how much all those who have died mean to us.  Each week we pray in our Parish for those whose anniversaries of death occur at that time.  We continue to pray for those we love even if we see them no longer, just as we did when they were with us because we love and care about them still.

If you wish to attend please confirm by email or phone by 30th October that you will be doing so and that we may mention your loved one by name in the service.

While usually we encourage everyone to feel welcome to join our services and visit our churches, swifts, swallows and house martins are much safer if they stay outside. We ask that you close church doors behind you, where possible this spring.
